Dr. Amr I.M. Hawal has his expertise in evaluation and passion in improving the health and wellbeing. His open and contextual evaluation model based on responsive constructivists creates new pathways for improving health care specially in Neonatology field. He has built this model after years of experience in research, evaluation, teaching and administration both in hospital and education institutions. Our case presentation was done in one of the biggest & modern of art & advanced NICU based on tertiary generation level in the region (Latifa Hospital, DHA, Dubai, UAE).
Abdulqadir Nashwan is a Nurse Research Scientist (NRS) at the National Center for Cancer Care & Research (NCCCR) a member of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Qatar. He received his Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) in 2007 & Master Degree in Nursing Oncology (MSN) in 2011 from the Hashemite University (HU) in Jordan. In 2012, he joined the nursing department in NCCCR as an Oncology/Hematology Charge Nurse; then he became a Head Nurse for Urgent Care Unit in 2013 and in 2014 he has been appointed as a Nurse Educator. In 2015, he has been appointed as a Senior Adjunct Instructor at the faculty of nursing at the University of Calgary in Qatar (UCQ). His current research interests include Research Utilization, Evidenced-Based Practice, Clinical Hematology, Medical Oncology, Nursing Informatics, and Cancer Immunotherapy. Mr. Nashwan has published more than 50 research articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the Blood, BMJ, and Journal of Pediatric Oncology Nursing. In November 2015, he has received Award of Merit for Placing HMC at the Cutting Edge of Cancer Research as a part of Stars of Excellence Program introduced by HMC. In October 2016, Mr. Nashwan has completed a Cancer Biology & Therapeutics (CBT) Program; provided by Harvard Medical School (HMS). Mr. Nashwan has been committed to mentoring and encouraging young clinical investigators throughout his career; he has formally supervised the training of more than a dozen MSc candidates and nursing fellows. His expertise is routinely sought in an advisory capacity both nationally and internationally; he has served as a member of health policy subgroup at ICN Nurse Practitioner/Advance Practice Nursing Network (APNN), also he has served a reviewer for several reputable journals (e.g., Journal of Applied Nursing Research, Asia-Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing, and Journal of Cancer Therapy) and as an editorial board member at the American Journal of Nursing Science (AJNS) and Trends in Medicine & Health (TMH).
Mr. Vineeth Joseph was born on 1985 at Kottayam, Kerala. He completed his B.Sc Nursing from RGUHS Bangalore, India in 2007 securing Best Outgoing Student Award. Thereafter worked as staff nurse in Cardiac surgical ICU in Sterling Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In the mean time he secured Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu during 2008-2009. He continued his Passion with Nursing and completed M.Sc Nursing in Cardio Thoracic Nursing in 2011 and again was the Best Outgoing Student of college. Then he Joined in School of Nursing in Kerala as Lecturer on 2011. Moved to Collegiate program as Senior Lecturer in Theophilus College of Nursing, Kangazha, Kerala till May 2014. Now he is associated with St. Thomas College of Nursing as Asst. Professor from May 2014. During the Period he continued to be a learned and achieved his Second Masters in MBA in health care Services from Sikkim Manipal University, India.
He presented papers in different conferences and published different articles. He is a life time member of Trained Nurses Association of India, Alzheimer’s Related Society of India (ARDSI), and Institute for Person Centered Approaches in India (IPCAI). His areas of interest are Medical Surgical nursing, Geriatric area, Nursing education and nursing research.
He is member of different International and national Journals as editorial board and as reviewer. He held postion as Zonal Secretary of Kerala East Zone Trained Nurses Association. He secured certification in aromatherapy course by online CE administered by Online continuing Ed, LLC also in e learning course Strengthening institutional capacity for nursing on HIV/ AIDS in India under GFATM round 7. He is member of examiners in examination board of different universities for both PG and UG.
Naveen Kumar Sharma BSN, MSN, RN, He is having 11 years experience in clinical and nursing education. He has completed his B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, India. He was rewarded his M.Sc. Nursing in Psychiatric Nursing. He worked as teaching faculty at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur for 3 years, Assistant Professor at MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, India for 4 years and Associate Professor department of Psychiatric Nursing in Sarvodaya College Nursing, Rajasthan, India, at present he is holding a post of Assistant Professor/ Lecturer at College of Nursing, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, Bihar, India. His area of specialty is psychiatric nursing, nursing education, nursing management, nursing research and health promotion. He has published many papers in international peer-reviewed journals. He had attended and was resource person for various conferences. He was a key-note speaker at the Texila American University’s 4th international scientific e-conference during October 26th – 29th 2017. He is member of various professional Organizations internationally.
His research interest is around the area of Health Care, Medicine, Child Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Nursing and Innovations in Research.
