Aleksandar Ž. Kostić is Assistant professor at Chair of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, teaching in different Chemistry courses. He has graduated and finished Magisterial (Applied Chemistry) and Doctoral thesis (Analytical Chemistry of Natural Products) at Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. His research area is focused on phytochemistry (with special emphasis on pollen chemistry and nutrition and bioactive compounds in plant materials), food chemistry, water chemistry, health risk assessment for human expressed through food and water consummation and polyacrylic hydrogels. Until now, he is author and co-author of more than seventy scientific papers in total (twenty peer-reviewed articles), two university textbooks and two student handbooks. His articles have been cited more than 100 times, h-index is 8 (Google Scholar). He is a reviewer for top International Journals such as Phytochemistry, Food Chemistry, Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Journal of Functional Food, Food Bioscience, Journal of Apicultural Research and Natural Product Communications. Also, he contributes as a reviewer in one new Journal- Heliyon. He is a member of Editorial board and reviewer in domestic scientific Journal- Material Protection. He has been participated in six research national projects and one bilateral project about bee products with Slovenia. He is a member of Serbian Chemical Society, International Bee Research Association (IBRA), Plant Protection Society of Serbia, Serbian Association of Food Technologists (SAFT), Serbian Nutrition Society and GHI for Serbia.
Baher Effat is a Research Professor of Food and Dairy Microbiology, National Research Centre, Egypt. Over 36 years of experience in Food and Dairy Bacteriology, he shared and supervised over than 3 Master and Ph.D Thesis in Food and Dairy sciences and more than 60 scientific publications in food and dairy microbiology, functional dairy products , probiotics and propionic acid bacteria and pathogenic bacteria and in Food and Dairy Products.
He has shared in national and international programs and projects. He joined many international conferences and workshop, in addition to scientific activities. In addition he awarded for CAS-TWAS Visiting Scholar Fellowship From 03 Aug., 2006 to 31 October 2006.Training of young researchers and lecturers on many science-related subjects; including courses for: Microbiological Analysis of Food, Control of Bacteria, Contamination during Food Process and Isolation and Identification of Microorganisms.
Bing-Huei Chen, male, food scientist, received his Ph.D. degree in Food Science & Technology, Texas A & M University, USA in 1988. His postgraduate career includes working at Fu Jen University, Taipei, Taiwan as Associate Professor from 1988–1994, Professor from 1994–2000, Distinguished Chair Professor from 2004–present, Chair of Department of Nutrition and Food Science from 1994-2000, Director of Graduate Institute of Medicine from 2006–2009, and Dean of College of Human Ecology from 2012–2015. He specializes in Lipid Chemistry, Pigment Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Food Toxicology, Functional Food Development and Biological Activity Determination as well as Nanotechnology. Until now he has published 181 research articles in internationally renowned journals and authored 11 book chapters in edited books published by International Publishers. He has received numerous awards including the prestigious outstanding research award by Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He was honored with Distinguished Professor by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China in 2015. Most importantly, Prof.Chen has developed a nano-product “Lycopene Chylomicron”, which has completed a phase III clinical trial in both Taiwan and USA in 2017 and demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of patients with prostatauxe syndrome. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of 2 journals “Recent Patents on Food, Nutrition and Agriculture” and “International Journal of Current Toxins Research” and Associate Editor of 2 journals “Journal of Food & Drug Analysis” and “Asian Science Bulletin”. In addition, he serves on the editorial board of 95 journals.
Dr. Farid Menaa is an inter- and multi-disciplinary professional with worldwide reputation. He has three international post-doctoral terms in Oncology, Dermatology, and Hematology; MBA Entrepreneurship and MD candidate. During his ongoing career, he has mainly contributed to the identification and functions of new human disease-causing genes and variants, formulated natural products for anti-aging and developed innovative theranostic strategies against cancers, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity and infectious diseases. He has more than 10 years’ experiences either in the academic, hospitals or industrial sectors. As Chief Scientific Officer and Vice-President R&D at Fluorotronics, Inc. he actively participated in the development of the disruptive “Carbon-Fluorine Spectroscopy”. Dr. Menaa collaborates with various organizations worldwide. He is a member of several prestigious medical and scientific organizations and editorial boards in the field of medicine, science, technology and business, including in the nano-segment. He has authored more than 100 articles including research and review articles, books, book chapters, textbooks, proceedings, and has participated to over 200 scientific international events including as co-organizer, keynote speaker, chairman. Dr. Menaa’s worldwide collaborations, holistic point of view and strong expertise in various fields led him to prevent, implement early diagnosis, and develop efficient and safer therapy.

Hongcai Zhang obtained his Bachelor degree from Anhui Agriculture University (AHAU) in the field of Animal Food Safety Control in 2009. After he received his Ph.D. Degree from Food Processing and preservation Lab, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2015. He went to Oregon State University (OSU) as a visiting scholar from 2014 to 2015. He joined Shanghai Ocean University (SHOU) in the Lab of Quality and Safety Risk Assessment for Aquatic Products on Storage and Preservation (Shanghai), Ministry of Agriculture in 2015.
His main areas of research include the utilization of aquatic and agriculture bio-products, chitosan modifications, the preparation and functional application of chitosan nanoparticles, and the encapsulation and releasing of bioactive substance for extending the shelllife of food and studying their antibacterial meachnism.
Manvesh Kumar Sihag is an Assistant Professor in Dairy Chemistry Department at Mansinhbhai Institute of Dairy and Food Technology (MIDFT), Gujarat, India. MIDFT is an initiative of Dudhsagar Dairy, Mehsana and is affiliated with Kamdhenu University Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Dr. Sihag had been appointed as Head, Dairy Chemistry Department for three years for the faculty of Dairy Science in Kamdhenu University by Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Kamdhenu University. He obtained his Doctorate in Dairy Chemistry from National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal, India and Masters in Food Technology from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar, India. His research interest lies in exploitation and processing of underutilized cereals & legumes and their utilization in the development of value added/ functional foods

Michele Solfrizzo is a Senior researcher at Institute of Sciences of Food Production (National Research Council, CNR, Italy). Sixty years old he studied Pharmacy and analytical chemistry at University of Bari and proceeded to work in a stimulating research environment (CNR) from 1983 to date. Long experience on mycotoxins, their urinary biomarkers of exposure and other fungal metabolites with biological activity. Passionate of analytical chemistry developed, validated and standardized new methods for the determination of mycotoxins and other fungal metabolites in foods, feeds and biological fluids. Isolation, identification and assessment of biological activity of new fungal metabolites. Participation and coordination of collaborative projects, at national and international levels, on mycotoxins and relevant biomarkers of exposure involving research Institutions from several countries (USA, Canada, Argentina, Croatia, Poland, Turkey, Lebanon, China and most EU Member States). Member of several committees, working groups and editorial board of scientific journals. Co-author of more than 150 scientific publications and 2 patents. H index 40 (Google Scholar).
